Interview or Applicant Day

Depending on the course you have applied for, you will be invited to visit the University Centre for either an Interview or an Applicant Day.

Please note that during any lockdowns in relation to covid-19 containment, no events will be taking place on campus. Applicants with offers have the opportunity to contact their tutors directly for one to one advice and guidance. If you wish to access this support you can visit our Live Chat service via our website and request a one to one. In some cases your tutor may wish to contact you directly.

Interviews

In most cases the interview sessions will last up to 3-4 hours and will include:

  • a welcome talk including information about life on campus and financial support
  • a tour of the campus/facilities
  • a one to one interview
  • a practical workshop (you will be advised if this is a requirement)

In some cases you may be asked to record a video, in which you demonstrate your practical skills.

We will try to keep waiting times down to a minimum but some waiting will be inevitable.

Applicant Days

During the day you will have the chance to meet the academics from your chosen course. You will also experience some of the teaching, learning and research activities that you will be involved in once you have enrolled.

On arrival you will be given a campus tour so please wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing.

Only applicants who have been made an offer will receive an invitation to the Applicant Day and must follow their specific instructions to book a place.

If you have any concerns or queries, please email he@myerscough.ac.uk or call our HE Team on 01995 642227.
